General
The following terms and conditions ("GTC") sets forth the general terms and conditions applicable to all orders made on goldencarrot.ch owned by Golden Carrot GmbH ("Website"), as well as the use of the Website. Any other terms and conditions are excluded, unless specifically accepted in writing.
Processing of Orders
All orders and any activities related to orders, including but not limited to payments and returns, are governed exclusively by these GTC, as applicable from time to time at the date of the order placement. By accessing and using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of these GTC. By clicking the order button provided on the Website, you are placing a binding offer, including payment of the order, for the products placed in the shopping cart. Before you submit your order you will be able to review the information provided and correct any mistakes.
A binding contract for the delivery of the products will become effective solely when the products are dispatch for delivery to you. The order confirmation does not constitute a declaration of acceptance from Golden Carrot GmbH, it solely serves for information purposes only. Golden Carrot GmbH reserves the right to refuse any orders without stating any reasons.
Prices, Delivery Costs and Delivery Terms
The prices listed on the Website at the time of the order apply. Golden Carrot GmbH reserves the right to change products and product pricing at any time.
All prices are in CHF (Swiss Francs) and include the mandatory VAT.
The delivery costs are not included in the product price listed on the Website. The following prices apply for delivery:
- Within Switzerland: 9 CHF per order, up to 5 Kg
- International (Europe and USA): 35 CHF per order, up to 5 Kg
The delivery period provided depending of the delivery destination on our Website is indicative only.
Payment of any duty and import tax is the responsibility of the recipient and will be collected at the time of delivery. These charges are not included in your total amount at time of checkout. Duty and import taxes are determined by the customs agency of your country of destination and is beyond our control. If you refuse delivery of your order due to a customs charges, your package will be considered abandoned and disposed of by the shipping carrier, and therefore your order is not eligible for refund.
Payments
Golden Carrot GmbH offers the following payment methods: (i) credit card payments with Visa and Mastercard executed by STRIPE, an online payment service provider; (ii) PayPal; and (iii) TWINT. The data related to your payments, such as credit card number and its expiration date, is collected by these payment service providers. Any additional bank charges related to the transaction will be borne by you. The GTC described here does not apply to those service providers sites. Please ensure you check the legal and privacy policy sections of any site you access.
Return Rights and Refunds
All products delivered as a result of orders from the Website can be returned within
14 working days of receipt.
Prior returning an item, please send us an email to admin@goldencarrot.ch with the item you want to return and the reason for return. However, the prerequisite for exercising the right of return is that you have only worn the products solely to try on, as in a shop, and that you return the products in their original condition, unaltered, not worn and with the tags still attached.
Any items purchased on SALE are not eligible for return or exchange or store credit, including items sold with promotional discounts.
GIFT CARDS and VOUCHERS are not eligible for return or store credit.
All costs for return shipments (Switzerland or International) are the responsibility of the customer. This includes orders with free shipping. Golden Carrot GmbH will solely provide a full credit to effectively returned products and does not take any liability for lost or stolen items – an insurance for the return package by the customer is therefore recommendable.
Your account will be credited within 5 business days of receipt. Additional up to 10 days period may be needed for the money transfer, depending of banks processing times. Any potential losses due to currency fluctuations will not be refunded.

Data Privacy
Golden Carrot GmbH respects the privacy of its customers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy that explains yours rights and responsibilities.
Warranty
The products offered on the Website are presented as digital photographs of the actual products. Minor discrepancies between the presentation and the actual product may appear and do not qualify as a defect. Otherwise, claims based on defects in the delivered products shall be governed by the applicable legal provisions, to the exception that any claims for damages relating to defects shall be subject exclusively to the Liability section below. Golden Carrot GmbH expressly reserves the right to deliver a defect-free replacement in the event of alleged and identified defects in the purchased item.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Golden Carrot GmbH will be limited to any amounts actually paid by you to Golden Carrot GmbH for the individual product giving rise to such liability.
Applicable Law
The GTC are governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with substantive laws of Switzerland. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to this Agreement. Any conflict arising out or in relation hereto, if not solved amicably, shall be settled by courts of competent jurisdiction in Zurich, Switzerland.
Changes and Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these GTC at any time, effective upon posting of an updated on the Website.
Acceptance of these Terms
You acknowledge that you have read these GTC and agree to all its terms and conditions. Should individual provisions of the GTC including be or become ineffective in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions or parts of such provisions shall remain unaffected. In place of the ineffective or missing provisions, the respective statutory regulations apply.
